On vinyl records, the “B” side is literally the other side of a phonograph record, since records can have tracks pressed into both sides. Initially, the “B” side was the less important part of the recording, or contained songs that were less popular or less likely to become hits. Also, many artists would record they loved more on the “B” side rather than those that although very popular, tend to not be the artist’s favorite track. Sometimes, the judgment about what should be marketed as an A-side or a B-side is off, as evidenced by many B-sides which later became very popular.

In this gallery, I showcase what I deem to be the hidden gems. The photographs on this page represent the images I decided to shoot all on my own, the exploratory images or assignments that are self generated. These are the photos no one is paying me for. These are for me. Enjoy!
